Default Monk weapon question

Is there anything wrong with a monk/mes using Incetols focus and a memser rod for domination?

I want my monk to heal and smite domination magic.

There is nothing wrong with most combinations of weapons. However, you are splitting your time between defense and offense. If you are only watching the random caster to interrupt him, that should be fine. Just be sure that your keypad is set up to select your party members when they need a heal.

Monks really shouldnt split their time too much. :\ Makes them not good at doing other things.

Both healing and smiteing really isn't a good idea. You should either just heal, or just protect and never smite. :P

If you both heal and smite that means you don't heal your team as much and you lose energy smiteing so you have less energy to heal your team with.

Also useing some attribute points on smiteing makes your heals/protection prayers weaker and heal for less.
